Synopsis: In Brooklyn, two "sweet old ladies," Martha and Abby Brewster, have a bad habit: murdering lonely old men as an act of "charity."When their nephew, Mortimer, a prominent New York reporter becomes engaged, he comes to visit. Mortimer aways knew his family somewhere had a bad gene. His brother believes himself to be Teddy Roosevelt and his great-grandfather used to scalp Indians for pleasure. Mortimer's world is turned upside down when he realizes that his dear aunts have been poisoning lonely old men for years! When Mortimer’s maniacal brother, Jonathan, appears, seeking shelter from the police, comedic chaos ensues, as Mortimer struggles to save his engagement and conceal his family's evil deeds.

When Mortimer Brewster visits his two aunts in Brooklyn, he discovers that his seemingly sweet, generous, caring old ladies are serial killers. The body of their latest victim is hidden in their living room. To make matters worse, his psychopathic brother, Johnny, comes to visit. Mortimer is forced to cover up for his sadistic kin while being torn between family loyalty and his desire to marry the woman he loves.
