Synopses: In F3, the vulnerable lamentations of a well-meaning young queer man through experiential empathy with strangers, asking the question of what to do when you’re disillusioned by your dreams not being all they seemed.
In With Meh Power Comes Some Responsibility, what happens when 5 D-list superheroes can't make the cut? Well...they get cut. DUN DUN DUNNN.
In This Play Is About Bugs, a dung beetle attempts to talk a mosquito out of entering a human home. A ten-minute play that reimagines the ancient fable ‘The Ant and the Grasshopper’ in a contemporary context, exploring the nature of lateral violence within a marginalized community.
In You Into Bad Girls, a confident sister pretends to be her shy sister at a bar, but her attempt to impress the bartender her sister likes backfires when she leans too far into a fake “bad girl” persona.
In Triggerfish, an Airbnb check in goes terribly wrong in this absurdist comedy.
The Argument: Within the season’s theme, the festival highlights how legends are born—not only from the past, but from the artists who shape our future. Every great play, every timeless character, once had a first performance. By championing new work, we honor the legacy of theatre itself: a living, evolving art form where today’s creations become tomorrow’s unforgettable stories.
