Synopsis: The Bard’s work has impacted writers and poets alike for hundreds of years. His words inspire us and we pay tribute to him, bringing fresh and new poetry to the Helen Borgers Theater LBSC Poetry Weekend. Writers, poets, and poet laureates will perform in a weekend of events.
The Argument: Poetry is at the core of all of Shakespeare’s works. Our founder Helen Borgers loved poetry and through this weekend we hope to honor her memory and her love of poetry!
