Double Feature: Candy Matson "The Black Cat" & Gunsmoke "The Guitar"

Synopses: In Candy Matson: The Black Cat, Rem and Candy drive home after a horse race, and they hear a voice begging for help. They stop the car, and find a man, Jerome Moreland, begging for help. His wife has gone to get a doctor. He gives Candy an envelope, but he dies before he can say another word. A black cat runs across the door step and scares Rem. Suspicious, Candy is determined to find the wife and solve this mystery, which continues to unravel as she meets a little boy Tommy and his black cat. Let's just say that the cat plays a major role in the unfolding of this mystery, and Candy solves the case yet again.

In Gunsmoke: The Guitar, Weed Pendle, a scrawny funny looking fella, rolls into Dodge City. The man is flat broke and has nothing in the world but his guitar and his mule. He was robbed and is penniless but won’t let go of his trusty guitar and mule. When Tiler and Short discover that Weed Pendle had served in the Army in the third Illinois Cavalry for the Yankees they make it their business to make Weed’s life a living hell, but the bullies go too far.

The Arguments: For Candy Matson, Candy is always ahead of the game. Using her wits, she defies the odds to get to the bottom of the case. The truth can be found by the most innocent of eyes and unlikely of places. Sometimes you are at the right place at the right time, and you just may be able to save the day or maybe save a life.

For Gunsmoke, sometimes someone comes into your life and their presence puts everything on its head. They are the talk of the town and it ruffles more than a few feathers. You think you know everything about someone in an instant and you judge them. But if you give them a chance, maybe, just maybe, they will surprise you. Treasured possessions and pets can mean more to a person than their safety or life. You have to treat people with respect and not lead with fists first
